Small bathroom design ideas

This week I will be starting on the design of what I consider to be one of the hardest rooms to design in the home, a bathroom. It is not a large bathroom but a very small bathroom. These rooms can be quite complex.

This bathroom needs to have more storage space, a bath and shower and appear larger than it is! The room also needs to be feel comfortable and not too cold, a space to enjoy a good soak in a bath.

I have started with looking for a few inspirational images and styles that will suit this type of bathroom.

Have fun.

  1. I'll be reading these with interest - we have a tiny bathroom, and it's next on the list of "big" jobs (as soon as I can persuade my husband, that is!)

  2. As someone in the midst of renovation hell this blog is like a raindrop from heaven! Lovely to "meet" you

  3. Small bathrooms are a challenge, I know, but there are some really, reaaaaly great inspiration pictures out there, aren't there? It's awesome what some poeple do with the space. You hardly notice the smallness of the room at all.

Can't wait to see what you do!

Shipping doors from Nepal or India?!!

  4. I think quite a bit can be done with small bathrooms if you approach them with the right attitude. Just because it is small does NOT mean you can only install an undermount sink in one of those hideous counters that doubles as a vanity. Think outside the box. Starting with the sink. A vessel sink adds quite a bit to the bathroom. There are also any number of wonderful tile designs available that can do wonders with a small space.

  5. Unseen bath designs. I really haven't seen such outrageous designs before. You have done really fantastic work.

Thanks for your thoughts. I read every comment and appreciate your feedback.
Have fun, Lisa
