Call me soft but yesterday was one of the coldest days I have en-counted here in Brisbane. With 7c at night and 12.5c in the day this is cold for our sub-tropical climate that normally hovers around 20-24c and clear blue skies!
So where to today.... somewhere hot and tropical like the W Retreat & Spa in the Maldives?

ReplyDeleteOh Lisa you're not soft. It has been freezing! Our house is hopeless, and when it's hot or cold, we feel the extremes badly.
7 degrees in sunny Brisbane???? Wow that is cold! When I used to live there, I would escape up to Toowoomba for weekends to get a "cold fix" with roaring log fires and cosy quilts in the b & b's. But at that temperature, Brisbane is quite cold enough!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of floating white curtains blowing in the breeze on a deck - so love that image near the top. Something lovely about outside curtains - perhaps it is the way the cascade and fall or perhaps because they are so decadent!
